Eames Plastic Armchair RAR
Today the Plastic Chairs number among the most well-known designs by Charles and Ray Eames. One model has always stood out among the myriad combinations of organically shaped shells and various bases in this large family of chairs: the iconic RAR (Rocking Armchair Rod Base). The compact rocking chair mounted on wooden runners adds a self-assured accent to any environment.
Eames Storage Unit ESU, Shelf
Charles and Ray Eames developed the Eames Storage Units ESU (1949) according to the principles of industrial production. The ESU Shelf is available in various heights; the ESU Bookcase is narrower and comes in one standard size.
Prismatic Table
Inspired by traditional Japanese paper folding techniques, Isamu Noguchi gave the Prismatic Table a pure geometric design. The three-legged side table, which is evocative of a prism, is available in a choice of black or white.
Eames Coffee Table
The premium-quality tops of the Eames Coffee Table by Charles and Ray Eames are available in rectangular or square versions in either palisander veneer, marble or solid American walnut. The wooden legs accentuate the understated elegance of this refined coffee table.
Belleville Chair
The plastic Belleville Chair consists of two components – a structural frame and a seat shell. The elegant structural frame forms the calligraphic lines of the chair's legs and backrest – and is available without or without forward sloping armrests. The thin seat shell tapers upward from the seat into the back. In addition to the version made of coloured plastic, the shell also comes in plywood veneer or upholstered in leather or fabric. Belleville Chair Plastic is also suitable for outdoor use.
Belleville Armchair
The Belleville Armchair is a hybrid chair, whose seat shell is available in plastic, wood or with a cover in leather or fabric. Each version lends the elegant chair a distinctive identity. The characteristic, forward curving armrests offer relaxing comfort and the model with the plastic seat shell is also suitable for outdoor use.
Butterfly Stool
The iconic Butterfly Stool by the Japanese designer Sori Yanagi is a classic piece of furniture that uniquely combines Eastern forms with the plywood moulding technique developed by Charles and Ray Eames. The gently curving silhouette of the twin seat shells is reminiscent of a butterfly's wings – eternally poised for flight. The stool is made of maple or palisander wood.
Standard Chair
The Standard Chair by Jean Prouvé has evolved into one of the most famous classics of the French 'constructeur'. The seat and backrest of this understated, iconic chair are available in various types of wood, and the metal frame comes in different colours.
EM Table
The aesthetic appearance of Jean Prouvé's EM Table adheres to structural principles, illustrating the flow of forces and stresses in its construction. It comes in a range of sizes with table tops in premium solid wood or HPL laminate in a choice of colours. Tops measuring 2000 or 2400 mm in length are also available in oak veneer. Thanks to this wide selection, the ideal EM Table can be found for every dining room.
